Riley’s 1st day of school

Riley started 4th grade this year.  He has Ms O’Nan again, who he had for 1st grade.  I had a feeling that’s who he would have once I saw the names of teachers.  I was not really happy about it but I think it’ll be ok now.  Riley has come a long way since 1st grade and the school is pretty aware of his ADHD and his tourettes.  Ms O’Nan didn’t really know how to handle it back then.  We will see.  Riley was pretty grumpy leading up to school starting but so far, so good.  He did his homework right away last Friday, that he did not have to turn in until this Friday.  He did it all in one night!  I can only hope he stays motivated.

 

Birthday’s

This past week we visited Brian and Michelle and had a few adult birthday’s to celebrated, had lots of Chinese food and deserts.  Man were we full !  Riley did not want his picture taken as you can see below!  He was busy playing with lego’s that he bought with money he earned for points on good behavior. 

We also got to celebrate Ollie’s 3rd birthday!  He had a Mickey Mouse theme.  The kids had a blast making crafts and wearing ears!

Karli developed a rash last week.  We are not quite sure what it was from, but it’s a possibility her new necklace could have done it.  It was all over her face, ears and neck.  She’s much better now!  She got to go shopping for some new Crocs for her and Riley.  She insisted on carrying the bag like a back pack.  Aunt Kat got a good picture of that.
