| Riley loves to draw |
Riley is taking school pictures today so maybe I'll have one to post. He has lost alot of weight and I think will lose more. I'm very happy for him. I wish I could lose as easy as he is. I think alot of it is his medication but it's better than gaining like the other meds did to him. Riley is doing pretty well in school. I wish I could say he had straight A's but I'm really ok with B's too. I'm not one of those moms that is going to freak out because my child isn't making straight A's. It doesn't mean he's not as smart as a kid that makes better grades. He also loves to draw and has been writing a story, mainly of pictures. I'll try to get more things he's drawn and posted.
Riley does like to play the guitar sometimes with his daddy. I'm hoping he'll decide to learn alot more. Since basketball is over, he isn't doing any sports. He does want to do flag football but I can't find a league that has not started yet or that doesn't cost tons of money. He does go outside and shoot hoops though.
Karli is, well, she's Karli. She's a sweet loving little girl when she wants to be, but other times she drains me. It's been a glass of wine every night thing lately. She is very strong willed. Her speech isn't where it should be in my opinion. The Dr may have her evaluated again. She's doing much better but I can't always understand her and she gets frustrated. But besides that, she will throw tantrums when she does not get her way. After a little advice, I've decided to put her in timeout, whether it's in her timeout chair and ignore her, or put her in my room and shut the door. This is for everything for when she decides to spit or hit or throw things or when she throws a tantrum. I give her 3 chances on some things. Karli has mommy wrapped around her fingers, that I do admit. I get irritated when people tell me they can't believe how much she throws a fit when I'm not around or how I let her sleep in our room (IN HER OWN BED) or how she still has a pacifier at 2 1/2. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but my kids are not their kids. Will Karli be spoiled, probably. She already is. as you can see from this picture where she is having her daddy rub her feet ! I'm working on it. I'm tired and I want to enjoy my children more than deal with their attitudes and temper tantrums, etc. Enough of that.
Karli loves clothes. Grandma Wilson bought Karli some clothes and this was one of them. I do not know why the picture turns sidewise when I've changed it on my computer! She decided to dance for us. She then took this outfit off and had to put on her bathing suite. I can't wait until she's older and she really wants to go shopping LOL
Over this past week Karli got the tummy virus. It did not last long but she did get a pretty high fever. She also kept complaining about her feet hurting then her legs. She would grab my shirt tight and make this face like she was cramping up. After a banana it seemed to get better. The only thing I can see is her toes are peeling from what I thought was wearing her shoes last week without socks. But it isn't getting better but not infected either. That kinda scared me but that seems better ok. She played outside this weekend and sat in her new chair and blew bubbles. Her Whoopigrandma also got her to do her laugh. She's a drama queen alright but when she laughs at things whether it's a bug or anything, she laughs and laughs and laughs.
On a health note for Karli, her lazy eye has not improved. She patches everyday at daycare and it still isn't better. I notice it almost daily still. Her next appointment is the end of May but I know they are going to want to do surgery. It really scares me and Jeremy is really resistent to surgery or Dr's or anything medical LOL. But this is her eye. I want to get it fixed so when she does start school she's not teased because of it. Please pray it can get better soon.
